About SwedPop
SwedPop is a national research infrastructure that provides individual-level population data, including life-course, cross-sectional, and panel data. The data cover large populations across diverse social and geograhical contexts over extended period times. The infrastructure is supported by a consortium of five Swedish universities and organisations, and by the Swedish Research Council. The SwedPop Online Data Retrieval Tool is developed and maintained by SwedPop as a resource for the research community and other interested users. The service is hosted by the Demographic Database (DDB) at CEDAR, Umeå University, Sweden.
Processing of Personal Data
By registering a SwedPop user account, you consent to the processing of your personal data by Umeå University. Information on how personal data are processed at Umeå University in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is available here.

Conditions of Data Use
By retrieving data from SwedPop, the user agrees:
- Not to distribute the data, or any part thereof, to third parties
- Not to use the data for commercial purposes
- Not to use the data, or any part thereof, for purposes other than those specified when ordering the data
Citation Requirement
By retrieving data from the SwedPop database, the user agrees to acknowledge SwedPop as the data provider and the Demographic Database (DDB) as the repository holder. Correct citations must be included in any publication, report, conference paper, or other material in which SwedPop data are used. The Citation page provides recommended citations for the current database version in multiple citation styles. Information required to citie earlier versions of the database is available at the Revision History page.
Revisions
